Accurate UWB tracking system
Ripples IoT dashboard with Bluetooth RTLS solutions with UWB tracking for wireless inventory tracking, remote worker tracking and asset tracking
Bluetooth 5.0 is a low-energy wireless network that works using Bluetooth asset tracking tags, motor pump monitoring sensors
Whereas the UWB tracking system is secure. It uses industry-standard AES128 encryption in all messaging. An unauthorised party cannot join the network, modify messages, or read the message content. Different keys can be set for each separate network.
- Core to the integrated solution is the versatile Ripples IoT dashboard with a business rule engine that can trigger alerts and notifications.
- The dashboard allows mapping of the physical area for tracking and monitoring.
- Creation of virtual zones, like a chess board with well-defined coordinates, that gives an accuracy of up to 10 centimetres
- The entire deployment is wireless, which helps in saving infrastructure costs such as cabling, electrical points and related safety certifications.
- Cloud based Bluetooth RTLS solution and asset tracking software with customisation and API integration from the Ripples IoT platform.
UWB tracking for wireless inventory tracking and warehouse monitoring
Ripples IoT dashboard. Small and large warehouses need to shut down for stocktake at regular intervals. Ripples offers wireless inventory tags that can be attached to inventory pallets. The dashboard provides information on the time of arrival, departure, duration of stay and movement information. This helps in
- Real-time stocktake without interrupting warehouse operations.
- Cycle counting of inventory daily for designated racks to eliminate mismatch and theft of inventory.
- Trigger alerts when an inventory tag is removed or moves out of the designated range, indicating possible theft attempts.
- FiFo – First in First out dispatch for perishable, near expiry, battery-powered consumer items such as toys and watches, where the battery life has to be near full while reaching the consumer.
- Locating inventory pallets in warehouses with the help of our dashboard, which gives a coordinated search for a product code or name. Pick to light tags help to improve. productivity of people.
- Tracking of workers in the warehouse to monitor safety and productivity. Tracking tags have panic buttons in the event of evacuation. Automatic attendance tracking and other validations can be done using the QR code printed on the devices.
In brief, the Ripples IoT dashboard helps to remotely monitor the assets, inventory and workers in a warehouse to improve productivity, inventory management and worker safety.
UWB tracking in warehouse management
- Temperature humidity data loggers are part of the solutions provided by Ripples IoT.
- In large supermarkets and cold storage, the deployment of our wireless cold chain monitoring solutions will save costs
- Wireless monitoring will avoid the need for physical inspection to read the temperature humidity values.
- Imagine a case where there are 100;s of freezers and the need to manually take readings.
- Apart from the accuracy and time savings, the Ripples IoT dashboard gives alerts and notifications.
- Buzzers and alarms can be activated when the temperature or humidity exceeds threshold limits.
- E-paper devices can be attached at inspection points to read the historical values.
Remote worker tracking
- Deployment of worker tracking tags inside safety helmets, vests and lanyards
- Definition of go zones to demarcate safety areas
- Alerts and notifications in the event of inactivity after a specific duration.
- Grouping of workers to monitor specific tasks, such as demolition or assembly.
- Ascertain the time spent in working zones, which helps in time-based billing projects
- In case of fire or chemical leaks, real-time headcount and last known positions of workers can help in emergency response and rescue operations
RTLS solutions use long battery life devices
Ripples IoT can offer integration of various Bluetooth 5.0 compatible devices in partnership with renowned device Manufacturers. The anchors have a battery life of 10 years, and that of the tracking and monitoring devices ranges from 1 to 5 years. Our UWB tracking dashboard displays the battery status of devices, enabling proactive replacement before the batteries die out.
